Warning: This review contains spoilers for Season 2, Episode 8 of “The Mandalorian.”

“The Mandalorian” ended its second season with a major twist and huge moment — but the biggest moment might be what happens after the credits roll.

Is there an end credits scene?

Yes. “The Mandalorian” season 2 finale features an end credit scene, one that gives us a glimpse at where we’re heading next.

What happens?

“The Mandalorian” end credits scene shows us Jabba’s Palace out on Tatooine. We see Fennec (Ming-Na Wen) and Boba Fett (Temura Morrison) enter the palace and take their revenge on Bib Fortuna and the rest of the crew that sent him into the Sarlaac Pitt.

  • The scene ends with Fett taking the throne of Jabba’s Palace with Fennec at his side.
  • Then, a title card flashes up for “The Book of Boba,” which is due out in December 2021.

A ‘Star Wars’ theory, confirmed

Back in November, rumors circulated that Disney would add a new miniseries dedicated to Fett. Deadline reported there would be a project or spinoff tied to “The Mandalorian” in the near future.
