Even though the TV show wrapped over seven years ago, “The Office” is still raking in awards ... in a way.
“Office Ladies,” a podcast hosted by “Office” alums Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, is the nominated podcast at the 2021 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards, according to THR.
THR reports that Fischer and Kinsey’s podcast is up for four nominations in total: best comedy, best ad read, best TV and film podcast and the show’s top award, podcast of the year.
Trailing behind “Office Ladies” are The New York Times’ podcast “The Daily” with Michael Barbaro and Conan O’Brien’s podcast, “Conan Needs A Friend,” with three nominations each.
“Office Ladies” is a weekly podcast that made its debut in October 2019. As of Dec. 9, the show boasts a catalog of 57 episodes.
In each episode of “Office Ladies,” Fischer and Kinsey rewatch an episode of “The Office” and offer listeners behind-the-scenes commentary, anecdotes and insights about its production. Fischer and Kinsey also respond to fan submitted questions and occasionally share the mic with special guests.
According to iHeartRadio’s website, fans can watch the upcoming awards ceremony live on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. MT on iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages. The ceremony will also be aired across iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide as well as the iHeartRadio app.
