Brand and reputation management expert Eric Schiffer doesn’t see a positive path forward for Lori Loughlin in the college admissions scandal, and he expects her to go to jail.
Will Lori Loughlin go to jail?
- Schiffer told me in a recent interview that experts believe Lori Loughlin won’t succeed in her trial for the college admissions scandal. Different experts wonder about the extent to which she will be penalized for the scandal, assuming she is found guilty.
- But, he said, judges won’t go easy on her.
- “She’s not gonna get off light. She’s gonna be doing hard time.”
- Schiffer said Loughlin will come out “aged on a significant level and traumatized.”
- “They don’t do Botox in prison.”
Lori Loughlin isn’t playing her cards right
- Schiffer said Lori Loughlin acted arrogant at her court appearances, which shaped everything to this point.
- “Lori was going into court in front of reporters acting like she was on a red carpet.”
- Hollywood crisis manager Howard Bragman told the Deseret News something similar at the end of 2019.
- He told me: Loughlin “is a different matter because here we are, the same time frame later, and Lori has not resolved her case. Lori played it badly, went to court with, you know, a Mercedes van full of attorneys, looking like she had a stylist dresser was smiling and waving. It just didn’t feel appropriate and didn’t feel like that’s how it should have gone down. It’s going to make it that much harder for people to get a measure sympathy for her.”
