Lori Vallow Daybell once competed on “Wheel of Fortune” and in the Mrs. Texas pageant, losing one and winning the other.
What’s going on?
- Vallow Daybell currently sits in an Idaho jail after she was charged with desertion and nonsupport. Her bail was reduced from $5 million to $1 million, though bail bond companies have yet to help her team.
- She competed on “Wheel of Fortune” in 2004 where she won $17,000, according to the Rexburg Standard Journal. She competed in the Texas pageant during the same year.
- Her friend Annie Cushing told Inside Edition that Vallow enjoyed the spotlight, including her time on “Wheel of Fortune.”
- Cushing said: “Lori definitely likes being the center of attention. She told my brother that God told her she was going to be on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ before she auditioned.”
Another note:
- Vallow Daybell divorced her then-husband Joseph Ryan in 2004, too, according to the Idaho State Journal. She is currently married to Chad Daybell.
- Reports suggested the FBI is looking into the death of Joseph Ryan, according to AZFamily.com. He passed away in 2018 from a heart attack. But, as I wrote for the Deseret News, the FBI contacted Phoenix police about Vallow Daybell’s ex-husband’s death.
