DoubleTree has published its official chocolate chip cookie recipe for the first time, giving people access to the hotel chain’s signature snack.

What’s going on:

  • Last week, DoubleTree published the recipe for its signature cookies, which the hotel chain will often give people when they first enter the hotel.
  • Shawn McAteer, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said in a statement: “We know this is an anxious time for everyone. A warm chocolate chip cookie can’t solve everything, but it can bring a moment of comfort and happiness. We hope families enjoy the fun of baking together during their time at home, and we look forward to welcoming all our guests with a warm DoubleTree cookie when travel resumes.”
  • You can read the full recipe on DoubleTree’s website. You can watch a video with the instructions below.

More recipes released

  • DoubleTree released the recipe for its chocolate chip cookie recipe as other major companies release their own recipes for famous meals and snacks.
  • For example, Disney released recipe for the Churro Bites, a “frozen pineapple treat” like the Dole Whip and a grilled cheese from Toy Story Land. Disney has often released other recipes, like the Monte Cristo sandwich and more.
  • McDonald’s also tweeted out a recipe for the McMuffin sandwich.
