Michael Jordan teared up while talking about leadership and competitiveness in the seventh episode of “The Last Dance.”

On Sunday night, ESPN aired the seventh episode in the Michael Jordan documentary, “The Last Dance.” The episode focused mostly on Jordan’s decision to retire and how he treated his teammates behind the scenes.

Several moments in the episode showed Jordan trash-talking his teammates and encouraging them to do better on the court.

The final segment of the episode showed Jordan talking about how to be competitive on the court, explaining that teammates need to be competitive, too.

Jordan teared up over the discussion, too.

Jordan said, “Winning has a price. Leadership has a price. So I pulled people along when they didn’t want to be pulled. And I earned that right, because my teammates came after me. They didn’t endure all the things that I endured.”

The episode concluded with Jordan asking to take a break from his ongoing episode, capping off yet another segment in the “Last Dance” series.
