The Marvel Cinematic Universe will return to our screens with the debut of “WandaVision” on Friday morning.
- The show will debut exclusively on Disney+ — the first Marvel show to do so. This is the first Marvel project we’ve seen since “Spider-Man: Far From Home” dropped in July 2019. We were supposed to have seen “Black Widow,” “The Eternals” and “The Captain and the Winter Solider” by now — if the coronavirus pandemic hadn’t happened (all of those projects were delayed by the virus).
Regardless, here’s a breakdown of how to watch the season premiere of the show.
Details
- Time: 1:01 a.m. MST (12:01 a.m. PST)
- Location: Disney+
- Titles: Episode 1 and Episode 2
- Run times: Episode 1 (27 minutes), Episode 2 (34 minutes)
What’s the show about?
“WandaVision” centers around Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) moving to a town called WestView. But everything is not as it seems, as real life appears to resemble a sitcom.
Will there be one episode or two?
“WandaVision” — a new Disney+ series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — will debut with two new episodes on Friday morning instead of the traditional one episode debut.
- Marvel Studios said earlier this week that “WandaVision” will have nine episodes in total.
How to watch and stream
“WandaVision” is only available on Disney+ so you will need a subscription to the streaming service, which can be purchased for monthly or yearly rates. There are currently no free trial offers available.
- Disney+ currently costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year for new subscribers.
- There’s also a bundle with Hulu and ESPN Plus for $12.99 per month.
