Weber State, Southern Utah and Dixie State announced their newest football class on Wednesday. Five Wildcats, 12 Thunderbirds and two Trailblazers signed National Letters of Intent, committing to their respective schools on the opening day of the early signing period.

Noah Kjar — WR, 6-0, 190, Draper, Utah (Corner Canyon High School)

Brayden Perry — LB, 6-3, 200, Saratoga Springs, Utah (Westlake High School)

“It was a really unique way to recruit this year, but I really like the players we have signed,” head coach Jay Hill said. “We only had a few openings but I really believe that we filled those openings with some really outstanding players and we’ll be ready to go this spring.”

Joe Tongamoa — DT, 6-2, 280, Hayward, California (St. Francis High School)

Jonah Wright — OL, 6-7, 290, Peoria, Arizona (Peoria High School) 

“This is the biggest early signing high school class we have ever had,”  head coach Demario Warren said. “We have really signed some smart, tough, talented young men that are going to fit our culture and make us a better football team. We addressed some key depth areas up front with signing half of our class at the TE and DL positions. Our recruiting coordinators Kenan Smith, Uani Unga and Sam Elliott did a great job of organizing recruiting through all the COVID restrictions. And the entire coaching staff did a great job of building relationships and identifying guys that want to be at SUU.”
