Michael Jordan is still on the lookout for someone to buy his megamansion.
Jordan’s mansion in Chicago remains for sale after eight years on the block, per Darren Rovell of Action Network. The home lists for $14.9 million — nearly half the original listing price of $29 million.
“Michael Jordan has unsuccessfully tried to sell his Chicago area home for the last eight years. It started at $29 million. It is now listed for $14,855,000,” Rovell tweeted.
Interestingly, those numbers add up to a funny little coincidence.
“1+4+8+5+5 = 23,” Rovell shared.
Jordan listed the house back in February 2012 for $29 million, according to Bleacher Report. The home failed to sell at an auction, where it had a minimum bid of $13 million.
The home hosts nine bedrooms and 19 bathrooms. It includes a regulation size basketball court, an infinity pool, putting green for golf fans, a tennis court and a cigar room.
All of these rooms make sense if you’ve watched “The Last Dance.” Jordan was often seen smoking a cigar, talking about his golf interests and, well, he has had a successful basketball career.
In October 2019, Jordan listed his five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mountain house in Park City, for sale at $7.5 million, as I wrote about for the Deseret News (with a rather cheeky headline, I might add). The home has three stories and covers 9,574 feet.
