COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS — Ella Kortbawi scored in the first minute of double overtime on Tuesday as Skyline went on the road to eke out a Region 6 win over Brighton.
With the win, Skyline moved into a third-place tie with Brighton in the region standings with 4-2 records.
After a scoreless first half, Skyline’s Ali Swensen scored on an assist from Ella Carmody in the 60th minute, but Brighton’s Evelyn Trammell equalized before the end of regulation to send the game into overtime.

Skyline has won three straight games since back-to-back narrow losses to Murray and Olympus last month.
