Corner Canyon 2, Bingham 1

Corner Canyon edged No. 6 Bingham 2-1 in Game 2 of the 6A Super Regionals to force a deciding Game 3 later today. The Chargers took an early lead in the first inning and secured the victory with another run in the eighth, courtesy of Krew Thorn’s RBI double. Bingham managed to level the score at 1-1 in the third inning, but couldn’t sustain their momentum. Zach Sorenson’s pitching held Bingham to one hit, while Dax Bradford took the loss on the mound for the Miners after striking out four.

Lone Peak 14, Westlake 1

No. 3 Lone Peak secured a commanding 14-1 victory over No. 14 Westlake, sweeping the series 2-0 to advance to next week’s 6A bracket play at BYU. Krew Robinson went 3 for 3 with three RBIs, while Boston Walkenhorst went 1 for 3, driving in three runs as well. The Knights broke the game open with a seven-run third inning, leaving Westlake unable to respond despite a late run in the fifth inning.

Lehi 15, Davis 3

Cole Ybarra went 3 for 3 with three RBIs, and Murphy Madsen contributed significantly by going 2 for 2 with three RBIs and a home run to propel No. 5 Lehi to a 15-3 victory over No. 12 Davis in Game 2 of the 6A Super Regionals series. Bingham jumped to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning, but Corner Canyon responded with five runs in the fifth inning and sealed their victory with four more in the seventh. Jordan 11, Layton 3

Mountain Ridge 17, Herriman 3

No. 2 Mountain Ridge overwhelmed No. 15 Herriman 17-3 in Game 2 of their 6A Super Regionals series, securing a 2-0 series win to advance to next week’s 6A bracket play at BYU. Mountain Ridge erupted for six runs in the first inning and added another six in the fourth. Cooper Goff stood out with a two-run homer, going 2 for 5 with five RBIs. Karson Fankhauser contributed by pitching five strikeouts, and Carter Bell went 2 for 5 with two RBIs, leading Mountain Ridge’s offense. Herriman managed three runs in the fourth but couldn’t halt Mountain Ridge’s high-powered attack.

Skyridge 6, Copper Hills 5

Skyridge, ranked seventh, rallied in a late-game push, scoring four runs in the fifth inning to secure a 6-5 win over No. 10 Copper Hills in a nonregion 6A Super Regionals contest. Zayden Bye’s two RBIs and a triple were pivotal, while Rip Roberts added a triple with one RBI. Miles Robinson contributed with a double and a triple, also driving in one run, as Skyridge forced a decisive game later today after Copper Hills claimed Game 1.

Riverton 15, Cedar Valley 3

No. 4 Riverton secured their place in next week’s 6A bracket play at BYU with a commanding 15-3 victory over No. 13 Cedar Valley, winning the Super Regionals best-of-3 series 2-0. Bryce Mounteer led Riverton with a three-run home run, contributing to his six RBIs, while Boston Hatch earned the win, striking out four. Cedar Valley managed to score two runs in the sixth inning, with Brayden Conder’s solo home run in the seventh inning adding their final run. Riverton’s strong finish, scoring eight runs in the seventh inning, solidified their advancement.

American Fork 17, Farmington 3

No. 1 American Fork dominated No. 16 Farmington 17-3 in Game 2 of the 6A Super Regionals, winning the series 2-0 to advance to the 6A bracket play at BYU. A five-run third inning and a late ten-run surge in the sixth highlighted the victory, with Jens Price going 2 for 5 and recording three RBIs. Farmington’s Wyatt Buck went 2 for 4, driving in two runs. Talon Willardson struck out three for the Cavemen, while Ryland Drollinger took the loss for the Phoenix.

Skyridge 4, Copper Hills 3

Rip Roberts pitched a complete game as Skyridge won a 6A super regionals game 4-3 against Copper Hills. The Falcons rallied in the third inning, scoring four runs to overcome a 2-0 deficit. Copper Hills managed to add one more run in the third inning, but Skyridge’s defense held strong for the remainder of the game.

West Field 15, Olympus 3

No. 4 West Field dominated No. 13 Olympus in Game 2 of the 5A Super Regionals best-of-3 series, winning 15-3 and securing their advancement to next week’s 5A bracket play at UVU with a 2-0 series victory. Pleasant Grove 8, Woods Cross 5

No. 3 Pleasant Grove defeated No. 14 Woods Cross 8-5 in Game 2 of the 5A Super Regionals best-of-three series to clinch the series 2-0 and advance to the 5A bracket play at UVU. Despite trailing 3-1 after two innings, Pleasant Grove tallied four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth for the win. Talon Page was pivotal for the Vikings, hitting a home run and driving in four runs. Crew Anderson claimed the win with three strikeouts for Pleasant Grove, while Creighton Farr suffered the loss for the Wildcats with five strikeouts. Woods Cross’ six errors proved costly despite a 10-hit performance.

Fremont 13, Wasatch 11

Fremont secured a 13-11 victory over Wasatch in Game 2 of the 5A Super Regionals, advancing with a 2-0 series win. Calvin Cooper and Ashur Clark each homered for Fremont in a decisive nine-run fifth inning. Wasatch’s Austin Brown went 2 for 4, including a home run and six RBIs, contributing to their late rally in the sixth and seventh innings.

Spanish Fork 10, Springville 6

No. 1 Spanish Fork clinched a 10-6 victory over No. 17 Springville in Game 2 of the 5A Super Regionals best-of-3 series, thus advancing to next week’s 5A bracket play at UVU. Springville held a 4-0 lead after the first inning, but Spanish Fork mounted a comeback with a 7-run surge in the fifth inning. Pratt Morley went 1 for 1 with two RBIs, Cody McLean tallied three RBIs, and Sammy Dart earned the win on the mound, striking out eight.

Skyline 7, Cyprus 5

In a pivotal 5A Super Regionals contest, No. 21 Skyline defeated No. 5 Cyprus 7-5, leveling the series and enforcing a Game 3 later today. Despite a sluggish start, Skyline managed a strong finish with Mason Papadakis leading the way, going 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Cyprus’s Noyker Velasquez contributed 3 RBIs in the losing effort but couldn’t prevent the comeback. With this victory, Skyline avenged their narrow Game 1 loss, forcing a decisive game in the best-of-3 series.

Payson 6, Alta 4

Ty Marvin went 3 for 4, helping No. 9 Payson surge to a 6-4 victory over No. 8 Alta in Game 2 of the 5A Super Regionals best-of-3 series. Payson secured early runs with a 2-run first inning and maintained their lead with two additional runs in the fifth inning. Ruger Braithwaite contributed with a double, while Trevin Madsen added two doubles and one RBI. Alta attempted a late comeback with four runs in the sixth inning, but it was insufficient to close the gap, forcing a decisive third game later in the day.

West Jordan 8, Roy 6

Salem Hills roared back with a dramatic eighth inning to beat No. 2 Maple Mountain 10-7 in a crucial Game 2 of the 5A Super Regionals best-of-three series. Salem Hills trailed 7-2 going into the final inning before Trey Snyder’s three-run home run sparked their rally. Eli Leyva went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, while Carter Smith contributed two RBIs for the SkyHawks. A decisive third game will follow later today as the series is tied 1-1.

Maple Mountain 10, Salem Hills 5

No. 2 Maple Mountain clinched the series 2-0 over No. 15 Salem Hills with a 10-5 victory in a 5A Super Regionals game, advancing to next week’s 5A bracket play at UVU. The Golden Eagles jumped ahead early, scoring three runs in the first inning and adding one more in the second. Mick Winward led the offensive charge with a home run and four RBIs. Salem Hills made a late rally with five runs in the last two innings, including a home run by Trig Richards, but could not overcome the early deficit.
