BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier and his brother, BYU receiver Tiger Bachmeier, are taking their talents to the stage.

The Bachmeier brothers will perform a free full-length concert with their uncle Don as the “Music Bachs” on Monday, July 13, at the American Fork Amphitheater as part of the Harrington Center for the Arts’ Concert in the Park series.

“We’ve got some old rock hits and some old country songs, and we’ll throw in some modern country songs as well. So, it’ll be a fun time,” Bear Bachmeier said at Big 12 Media Days on Tuesday.

Bear and Tiger Bachmeier have shared their musical talents in the past while performing at retirement homes in the Provo area. But this will mark the first time the public gets to hear the brothers perform live.

While Bear Bachmeier didn’t divulge which rock and country songs the Music Bachs will perform, here’s an educated guess to what their setlist will include.

The Bachmeiers’ first retirement home performance to go viral was “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” in September, which would be a fitting choice to play after the song became the World Cup anthem for the U.S. team this summer.

Another classic the Bachmeiers could perform is Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline,” which they performed at the retirement home the day after beating Utah 24-21.

Another possibility is Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel,” which Bear Bachmeier said in his first BYU press conference was his favorite song to play on the guitar.

Last season, after BYU’s 41-27 win over Iowa State, the BYU quarterback said he sang “Fast Car” and Luke Combs’ “Hurricane” to “stay composed” on the sideline. Either song could make it into the setlist.

The Bachmeiers could also chose to sing original music like Bear Bachmeier did in November while on BYUtv Sports Nation’s “BYU Football with Kalani Sitake.”

Bear Bachmeier sang and played a song he wrote on the guitar about his upbringing, called “Ortega Road.”

The Music Bachs will perform Monday at 7 p.m. at American Fork Amphitheater. Admission is free.
