Hillcrest’s dominant defense shut out Granger in a 45-0 victory in Region 4 play. The Huskies took an early lead with a 7-yard touchdown pass from K’Von Houston to Alani Latu just over a minute into the game. Houston added a 33-yard touchdown pass to Levi Lavaka late in the first quarter, and Hillcrest scored three more times in the second quarter, including a halftime-closing 56-yard fumble recovery by Collin Ence. Houston contributed two rushing touchdowns as Hillcrest continued to pile on in the third, completing the rout with a 1-yard run and successful two-point conversion.

Box Elder (4-0) shut out Northridge (1-3) 34-0 in a dominant Region 5 win. The Bees took the lead late in the second quarter with a 44-yard field goal by Tytan Hupp with just one second left. Box Elder then extended its lead with Judd Howells’ 23-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. Kadyn Reyes connected with Cammon Bushnell for a 30-yard touchdown pass at 11:10 in the fourth. Hupp capped the scoring with a booming 50-yard field goal with 7:56 remaining. Northridge was unable to score against Box Elder’s stout defense.

Timpview 48, Payson 3
Timpview (2-2) dominated Payson (2-2) in a Region 7 matchup, winning 48-3 with a commanding second quarter performance. Matthew Manuma starred, throwing four touchdown passes, including an 8-yard strike to Lolua Moungaloa with 3:23 left in the first quarter to initiate scoring. The Thunderbirds expanded their lead with two more touchdown passes from Manuma and a late 4-yard connection to Rob Tuaone just before halftime. Timpview added two more touchdowns in the third quarter, the last a 45-yard pass from Marley Fakatoumafi to Rob Tuaone. Payson’s sole score came from a 22-yard field goal by Bronx Newbury early in the second quarter.

Park City’s explosive second quarter, where they scored 26 points, set the stage for their victory. Despite Mountain View’s strong comeback attempts, including Brigham Moses’ 11-yard touchdown reception with 2:00 left in the third quarter and Ratu Malungahu’s 55-yard fumble recovery at 4:03 in the fourth, the Miners remained on top. No additional scoring in the fourth quarter ensured Park City’s advantage remained intact, marking their first win of the season.

Late scoring efforts in the fourth quarter, including a Cordon White 8-yard run and Shane Pearson’s 5-yard reception, sealed the game. North Sanpete’s sole highlight was an 80-yard touchdown run by Chaetton Osborne with 2:10 remaining in the game.

Dixie (1-3) clinched a thrilling 35-34 overtime victory against Cedar City (2-2) in a nonregion matchup. Despite trailing early, the Flyers pulled ahead late in regulation with Riker Muhlestein connecting with Robbie Bennett for a 3-yard touchdown pass, tying the game with 7 seconds left. In overtime, the Reds briefly took the lead with a 3-yard touchdown run by Gavin DeMille. However, Dixie’s Riker Muhlestein sealed the win with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jennings Larkin. Cedar City’s Jackson Mann contributed with a 30-yard rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown earlier in the game.
Rigby, Idaho 28, Syracuse 14
Rigby (3-0) overturned a 14-point deficit to defeat Syracuse (1-3) 28-14 in a nonregion game. Syracuse’s Kao Prom scored twice, with a 3-yard run in the first quarter and a 26-yard dash early in the second, giving the Titans a 14-0 lead. Rigby’s offense responded with two touchdowns in the second quarter, tying the game at halftime. The Trojans continued their momentum, scoring again in the third quarter with a go-ahead touchdown that secured their win. Another touchdown in the final quarter sealed their victory without further challenge from Syracuse.
Lehi 27, ALA - Queens Creek, Ariz 12
Briggs Jensen led Lehi (2-2) to a convincing 27-12 victory over ALA - Queen Creek, Ariz (0-2) in a nonregion matchup. Jensen threw two touchdown passes to Beckham Cluff, starting with a 22-yard connection at 8:30 in the first quarter. Cam Bryce added a 16-yard touchdown reception and a 1-yard touchdown run, extending Lehi’s lead to 27-0 by halftime. ALA - Queen Creek responded with two late scores in the second half but couldn’t overcome Lehi’s first-half dominance. The Patriots managed to score twice in the second half with touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters.

Ogden’s Blake Weston powered the Tigers (3-2) to a 48-13 victory over Clearfield (2-2) in a nonregion clash, scoring three rushing touchdowns, including the go-ahead 37-yard run with 11:33 left in the second quarter. Clearfield started strong, with Bryson Ridge catching two touchdown passes from Brik Barlow, taking an early 13-0 lead in the first quarter. However, Ogden’s defense shut down the Falcons, keeping them scoreless for the remainder of the game. Anderson Curry and Jack Thompson added second and third-quarter touchdowns for Ogden. Kos Crowther capped the scoring with a 9-yard run with 6:11 left in the fourth.

However, the Red Devils were overwhelmed by the Tigers, who built a commanding lead of 52-7 by halftime.
American Leadership 17, Ben Lomond 13
Asher Hernandez’s 60-yard touchdown reception from Cooper DuPaix in the second quarter propelled American Leadership (4-0) to a 17-13 victory over Ben Lomond (0-4) in a nonregion matchup. The Eagles solidified their lead just before halftime with Wesley Haston’s 43-yard field goal, making it 17-13 with only nine seconds left in the second quarter. Ben Lomond initially took the lead on a touchdown run by DaShawn Gordan early in the game, but American Leadership’s defense held firm, allowing no points in the second half to secure the win.
Hurricane 43, Grantsville 10
Kannon Cowan led Hurricane (4-0) to a decisive 43-10 victory over Grantsville (3-1) in a nonregion game, contributing five touchdowns, including a 57-yard run in the first quarter. Hurricane dominated early, taking a 30-3 lead by halftime. Hurricane’s defense stifled Grantsville, highlighted by Cowan’s 15-yard interception return for a touchdown midway through the third quarter. Grantsville managed a touchdown pass from Crew Allred to Dawson Dunlevy in the fourth quarter, but it was too late to spark a rally.

He added a 55-yard touchdown run with in the second quarter and a 1-yard touchdown reception from Brigg Gardner in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Beaver’s Takoda Boger scored just before halftime on a 5-yard pass from Drew Sorenson, but the Beavers were unable to find the end zone in the second half.
Crimson Cliffs 36, Brighton 13
Crimson Cliffs (3-1) secured a dominant victory over Brighton (1-3), winning 36-13 in a nonregion matchup. Ryder Tebbs kicked off the scoring for the Mustangs with a 15-yard run at 5:58 in the first quarter. Brighton responded in the second quarter, with Dax Matheson’s 3-yard pass tying the game and an impressive 51-yard pass to Easton Gustafson giving them a brief lead at halftime. However, Crimson Cliffs dominated the second half, with Jack Boyer catching two touchdowns and Kammon Uluave’s 85-yard interception return sealing the victory. The Mustangs’ defense held Brighton scoreless in the second half.

Dillon Dyreng powered Gunnison Valley (3-1) to a decisive 42-13 win over Milford (1-3) in a nonregion matchup, scoring three touchdowns on the ground. After Milford’s Kamdon Spaulding opened the scoring with a 13-yard pass from Braxton Hansen with 5:45 left in the first quarter, Gunnison Valley took control. Chance Hammond’s 38-yard interception return with 7:43 left in the second quarter put the Bulldogs ahead for good. Dyreng’s performances included a 4-yard run in the first, a 2-yard and 20-yard run in the second and third quarters, respectively. Daxton Knudsen sealed the game with a 26-yard reception from Ryder Donaldson.
Snow Canyon 35, Woods Cross 28
Parker Olson’s standout performance led Snow Canyon (2-2) to a 35-28 home win over Woods Cross (2-2) in a nonregion matchup. Olson threw four touchdown passes, two to Brett Bethers and two to Issaiah Thompson. Olson also threw a game-winning pass to Thompson with 22 seconds left for the win. Woods Cross’s Mak Trimming had an 89-yard interception return early in the fourth, but Snow Canyon’s offense proved too strong in the final moments.
Bishop Gorman, Nev. 38, Lone Peak 14
A strong first half from Nevada’s Bishop Gorman set the tone in its 38-14 victory over Lone Peak (2-2). Ledger Holmes put Lone Peak on the board early with a 6-yard touchdown pass from Cruz Christensen in the first quarter, evening the score at 7-7. However, Bishop Gorman surged ahead with 21 points in the second quarter and 10 more in the third. Lone Peak managed to score again in the fourth quarter with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Joseph Christensen to Ayden Laws, but the Knights couldn’t overcome the deficit.
Delta 32, Providence Hall 9
Bronx Hunt’s 50-yard touchdown run with 9:30 left in the first quarter set the tone for Delta (3-1) in their 32-9 nonregion victory over Providence Hall (1-3). Delta extended their lead to 16-0 by the end of the first quarter with a 4-yard run from Bodey Shurtz. The Rabbits continued their dominance with a touchdown in the second quarter by Dayson Meinhardt. McCrae Wade’s 1-yard run in the fourth quarter sealed the win. Providence Hall’s Luke Petty caught a 5-yard pass with 9:29 left in the fourth for the Patriots’ only touchdown.
Kanab 42, Millard 6
Degan Swapp’s impressive performance led the Kanab Cowboys (3-1) to a dominant 42-6 victory over the Millard Eagles (2-2) in a nonregion game. Swapp scored three rushing touchdowns, including a 3-yard run early in the second quarter to put Kanab up 14-0 and a 5-yard run with 11:11 left in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 28-6. Kanab’s relentless rushing attack added late touchdowns from Latimer Glover and Willis Wulfenstein. Millard’s only score came on a 33-yard run by Jensen Davies late in the second quarter, but they were unable to threaten Kanab’s strong defense further.

Bode Sparrow’s standout performance propelled Davis (2-2) to a 27-6 victory over Alta (3-1) in nonregion play. Sparrow caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Paden Toula in the second quarter and followed up with a 2-yard rushing touchdown just before halftime. He continued with a 97-yard kick return for a touchdown early in the third quarter. Griffin Carmack contributed field goals for the Darts from 21 and 30 yards.

Ajay Thomas fueled Emery’s (2-2) 48-16 victory over Judge Memorial (1-2) with a commanding performance, contributing to four touchdowns. The Spartans took an early lead with Thomas’s 3-yard run at 7:16 in the first quarter. Thomas continued his dominant play in the second quarter, connecting with Krae LeRoy and Jess Larsen for touchdowns, and also facilitating Myles Mortensen’s fumble recovery touchdown. Hunter Leffler added two more rushing scores in the fourth quarter. Mavrick Middleton was a bright spot for the Bulldogs, scoring both of their touchdowns, including a 75-yard run early in the fourth.
North Summit 45, Parowan 0
North Summit (3-1) dominated Parowan (0-4) in a nonregion game, securing a 45-0 victory. Knox Woolstenhulme initiated the onslaught with two first-quarter touchdowns, followed by an impressive second quarter from Cru Richins, who threw three touchdown passes. Jose Sanchez added a 24-yard field goal with one second left in the first half, pushing the lead to 38-0. Talon Stuart’s 10-yard interception return early in the third quarter sealed the fate for Parowan as North Summit’s defense held the Rams scoreless throughout the game.
Skyline 69, Juan Diego 7
Judah Valle powered Skyline (2-2) to a dominant 69-7 victory over Juan Diego in a nonregion game, contributing five touchdowns, including a 73-yard kick return and a 53-yard run. Valle’s performance included scores off a 15-yard pass, a 1-yard run, and multiple breaks through the defense. Skyline’s defense and special teams were equally imposing, as Nick Tueller returned an interception 19 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. Juan Diego’s (0-4) sole bright spot came on a 19-yard touchdown pass to K Rowland in the first quarter.
Olympus 29, Piedra Vista, N.M. 14
Easton Zito powered Olympus with 128 rushing yards, leading the Titans (2-2) to a 29-14 victory over Piedra Vista, N.M. in a nonregion matchup. Henry O’Neil opened the scoring with a 30-yard field goal at 6:08 in the first quarter. Zito then scored a 2-yard touchdown run with 2:20 left in the second quarter and added another 1-yard touchdown at 3:41 in the third quarter. Crue Lindsay’s late 1-yard fumble recovery for a score with 6:04 remaining in the fourth quarter sealed the game. Olympus dominated on both sides of the ball to secure the win.
San Juan 38, Summit Academy 14
San Juan (3-1) capitalized on an explosive performance by Beau Yeomans to defeat Summit Academy (2-2) 38-14 in a nonregion matchup. Yeomans threw four touchdown passes, including a 54-yard strike to Brigg Palmer early in the first quarter and a 53-yard pass to Randall Black with 10:51 left in the fourth. Summit Academy’s Rigby Young connected with Beckham Meredith for a 2-yard touchdown pass, narrowing the gap in the second quarter, but San Juan maintained control. Palmer sealed the win for the Broncos with a 44-yard run, extending the lead to 38-14 with 2:11 remaining.
American Fork 41, Farmington 13
American Fork (2-1) dominated Farmington (1-2) in a 41-13 nonregion victory, fueled by Jake Matsen’s impressive performance. Matsen threw for four touchdowns, including a 65-yard strike to Cash Taiese just seconds into the fourth quarter. Despite an early 6-0 lead by Farmington from Thayne Boyle’s 1-yard run, American Fork took control when Matsen connected with Noah Behm for a 34-yard touchdown with 2:38 left in the first quarter, making it 10-6. Farmington’s only other score came from Easton Hunt’s 52-yard interception return in the third quarter. The Cavemen’s explosive offense proved unstoppable, securing the win.
Skyridge 24, Liberty, Nev. 20
Jagger Fountaine’s three first-half touchdown passes powered Skyridge (2-1) to a 24-20 victory over Liberty, Nev. on Friday night. Fountaine connected with Beckham Bennett on a 1-yard pass with 0:31 left in the first quarter to start the scoring. Malosi Shepard and Steeler Wesley added touchdown receptions of 5 and 35 yards, respectively, in the second quarter for Skyridge. Liberty’s rally fell short despite a consistent scoring effort, scoring in each quarter with a late field goal closing the gap. The Skyridge defense held off Liberty’s offense in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Arizona’s Liberty rallied in the second half to defeat Corner Canyon (3-1), 38-24. The Lions outscored Corner Canyon 24-7 in the second half to seal the win. Liberty narrowed the gap to 17-14 by halftime and pulled ahead with a 10-point third quarter. The Lions sealed their victory with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, including a 85-yard interception return. Corner Canyon scored a fumble-recovery touchdown early in the third but failed to produce any points in the fourth quarter. Jaxon Pehrson threw two touchdown passes in the loss.

St. Joseph (2-2) cruised to victory over Panguitch (2-2), with a final score of 35-6 in a 1A 8-player game. The Jayhawks unleashed a dominant offense, shutting out the Bobcats while maintaining a perfect clean sheet on defense for most of the game.
Whitehorse 62, Water Canyon 32
Whitehorse Raiders (3-1) overwhelmed Water Canyon Wildcats (1-3) in a lopsided 62-32 victory in a 1A 8-player game. Despite an uneventful first quarter, Whitehorse’s offense ignited, scoring progressively in each subsequent quarter. Water Canyon struggled to contain Whitehorse’s offensive momentum as the Raiders demonstrated dominance on both sides of the ball.
Utah Military Hillfield 34, Monument Valley 14
Utah Military Hillfield (1-2) secured their first victory of the season with a dominant 34-14 win over Monument Valley (0-2) in a 1A 8-player matchup. Despite a scoreless start, the Thunderbirds surged ahead, maintaining control throughout the game and never trailing after taking the lead.
