Here’s a look at some headliner performances from Week 6. Also check out the Deseret News’ complete sortable leaders feature for offense, defense and special teams.
Class 6A
- Omarian Sanders, Skyridge — Made the most of his four catches finishing with 104 yards and two scores in helping Skyridge edge rival Lehi 28-20.
- Bo Metcalfe, Syracuse — Had a big impact offensively and defensively in the 30-0 win over Layton. Defensively, he intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown while offensively he hauled in seven catches for 98 yards and one touchdown.
- Alton Dahl, Farmington — Completed 18 of 31 passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns in leading Farmington to the 30-13 win over Weber.
- Filisi Filipe, Herriman — Enjoyed another monster game on the ground rushing for 172 yards and four touchdowns in the 48-7 win over Westlake.
Class 5A
- Cash Hawkins, Viewmont — Played a huge role defensively in the Vikings’ 19-14 win at Brighton as he snagged three interceptions to go along with his seven tackles.
- Ryder Paea, Hunter — Carried the ball 21 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wolverines to the 37-27 win over West Jordan.
- Siaosi Toki, Springville — Hauled in three receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown, and then defensively intercepted two passes as Springville rolled past Payson for the 48-0 win.
- Gunner Pearson, Roy — Completed 14-of-20 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns as the Royals jumped out quick in their 35-0 win at Bonneville.
- TJ Tuha, Timpview — Only rushed the ball 10 times, but made the most of them with 93 yards and three touchdowns in the T-Birds’ easy 56-13 win over Maple Mountain.
Class 4A
- Parker Olson, Snow Canyon — Passed for two touchdowns and rushed for two more as he racked up 350 yards of total offense in Snow Canyon’s big 28-25 region win over Pine View.
- Preston Wilkinson, Bear River — Completed 15-of-20 passes for 249 yards and three touchdowns in leading the Bears to the 47-33 shootout win over Tooele.
- Noah Fiefia, Ridgeline — Carried the ball 13 times for 206 yards and four touchdowns while also adding two receiving TDs as the Riverhawks cruised past Desert Hills for the 55-7 victory.
- Dru Reuss, Murray — Rushed for two scores and passed for another, accounting for 269 yards of total offense in helping Murray beat East for the 38-21 victory.
Class 3A
- Jacoby Ahlstrom, Juan Diego — Completed 12 of 20 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 87 more yards and two TDs in leading the Soaring Eagle past Cottonwood 48-3.
- Easton Favero, Logan — Completed 18-of-29 passes for 302 yards and a touchdown while also adding a rushing score as Logan slipped past Ogden for the 18-17 win.
- Braxton DeMille, Cedar — Huge day on the ground in Cedar’s 48-24 win over North Sanpete as he rushed the ball 23 times for 243 yards and five touchdowns.
Class 2A
- Rigby Young, Summit Academy — Accounted for all five Summit Academy touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) in the Bears’ 34-0 shutout win over American Leadership.
- Brigg Palmer, San Juan — Rushed for 293 yards and two touchdowns in another dominant performance in leading the Broncos to the 44-27 come-from-behind win over Delta.
Class 1A
- Cru Richins, North Summit — Threw for three touchdowns and then defensively also returned an interception 70 yards for another score as North Summit rolled past Gunnison Valley 47-0.
- Brex Robinson, Duchesne — Impacted both sides of the ball in the 55-7 win over North Sevier as he accounted for five total touchdowns offensively and then recorded three tackles and an interception defensively.
