The FBI has released a new photos of Lori Vallow’s daughter that was taken on the last day that she was seen six months ago, Fox News reports, along with several other photos tied to the investigation.
- The photos were released Thursday, one day before Vallow appeared in court where she saw her bail reduced from $5 million to $1 million, the Deseret News’ Annie Knox and KSL-TV’s Garna Mejia reported.
What’s going on?
- The FBI released a photo that shows Tylee Ryan, 17, holding her brother Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, who has autism. The photo shows Tylee holding JJ at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, Fox News reports. The photo was taken on Sept. 8.
- The second photo released that day showed Vallow holding JJ, Fox News reports.
- Another pair of photos show a 2017 silver Ford F-150 pickup with an Arizona license plate that reads CPQUINT, according to the FBI.
- Police officials say Tylee hasn’t been seen since that day at Yellowstone. JJ, meanwhile, hasn’t been seen since Sept. 23.
More on Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell’s case
- Vallow, the mother of two missing Idaho children, is facing two felony charges of desertion and nonsupport, as I wrote for the Deseret News. The case has been linked to suspicious deaths and allegations of cultlike religious beliefs, per the The Associated Press.
- Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, have been living in Hawaii without the missing children, according to my report for the Deseret News. Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow were married two weeks after Daybell’s late wife Tammy Daybell “died under circumstances police say may be suspicious,” according to USA Today.
