Cassie Laundrie, the sister of missing Brian Laundrie, said Tuesday that she doesn’t know where he is right now.

“No, I do not know where Brian is,” she said.

She added, “I’d turn him in.”

Her comments came during an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America,” which aired Tuesday morning. She said she would tell Brian Laundrie to come forward if he could hear her message.

“I worry about him. I hope he’s OK, and then I am angry and don’t know what to think,” she said, according to CNN.

She added, “I would tell my brother to just come forward and get us out of this horrible mess.”

Brian Laundrie’s parents reveal what they know about their son’s whereabouts

Brian Laundrie is at the center of a nationwide search after the body of his girlfriend, Gabby Petito, was found in Wyoming in September. Petito and Laundrie, who lived together in Florida, had been on a cross-country road trip. But Laundrie returned home to North Port, Florida, without Petito. Her family reported her missing on Sept. 11. Her body was found on Sept. 19.

On Sept. 14, Laundrie went on a hike. His family reported him missing three days later.

Brian Laundrie’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Cassie Laundrie told “Good Morning America” that she last saw Brian Laundrie on a family camping trip, which took place at Florida’s Fort De Soto Park in early September, as I reported for the Deseret News.

“We just went for a couple of hours and we ate dinner and had s’mores around the campfire and left. There was nothing peculiar about it. There was no feeling of grand goodbye. There was no nothing,” she told “Good Morning America.”

“It was just a regular visit,” she said.
