Zachary Randazzo, an 18-year-old driving around North Port, snapped a photo about two blocks from the Laundrie home. The photo shows a man walking.
Outside the protest at Brian Laundrie’s house, somebody snapped this picture of a man identical to him walking down the next street and said he was covering his face. Josh Taylor, a spokesman for the North Port Police Department, told the New York Post that police are aware of the photo and are looking into it.
- Taylor said the man in the photo has tattoos on his left arm, but Laundrie does not.
- “Other than that, sure as heck looks like him,” he said, according to the New York Post.
Laundrie, a person of interest in the case, has been missing since Tuesday. He was first reported missing on Friday, two days before officials found human remains in Wyoming that match the description of his girlfriend, Petito.
Laundrie returned home to North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1 without Petito. Ten days later, Petito was reported missing.
