MILLCREEK — Unified police have identified a man shot and killed in front of a car wash over the weekend.
Manuel Felipe Gonzalez-Cortez, 21, of Colombia, was shot about 12:30 a.m. Sunday near 635 W. 3900 South. Gonzalez was found by police after a passerby spotted him on the ground after a confrontation had occurred, according to police.
Gonzalez was staying with his girlfriend nearby, according to Unified police, when he allegedly left to walk to a nearby convenience store. No one had been arrested as of Monday and there were no known witnesses to the shooting.
