Ian Peisner, front, planting coordinator for TreeUtah, helps volunteer Preston Willey move a plane tree into place at Stratford Park in Salt Lake City on Thursday. TreeUtah organized volunteers to help plant the trees, just the latest of more than 385,000 trees the nonprofit has planted around Utah. The nonprofit organization works with government agencies, local businesses, church groups and community volunteers to plant trees in public spaces throughout the state. It plants trees of all types and aims to plant 7,000 new trees to make our communities healthier.
