Utah archers Ed Eliason and Denise Parker won the men's and women's titles in the National Archery Association championships Thursday.

Archers were to compete in an international round Friday.Eliason, of Stansbury Park, led all four days of competition to take his second straight title, while Parker, of South Jordan, won the women's title in her first year of competition at that level.

Eliason compiled 2,603 of a possible 2,880 points in four days. In second place again this year was Rich McKinney of Gilbert, Ariz., who was 64 points back at 2,539.

Parker, who won the girls 15-17 title last year, took the women's title with a score of 2,586. She had also won the girls 12-14 title in 1987.
