Former Golden State and Atlanta center Chris Washburn, suspended by the NBA for failing to complete an aftercare program, has been cleared to play in the Continental Basketball Association. He was suspended from the NBA in March 1989 and is eligible to re-apply in March this year. He currently is awaiting assignment to a CBA team.
