The Diamond Information Council says the first lady will be sporting a canary yellow diamond ring. The 4.25 carat uncut stone is normally on display at the Mid-America Museum in Hot Springs, Ark. It was discovered in 1977 at the Crater of Diamonds Park in Murfreesboro, Ark., and is owned by Arkansas jeweler Stanley B. Kahn.The stone is to be set in a mounting created by New York jewelry designer Henry Dunay. It is said to have a retail value of about $30,000.
