A cold fusion researcher who immigrated to Salt Lake City from Bulgaria says he will introduce a new science to the world Wednesday during an international cold fusion conference in Maui, Hawaii.
Kiril B. Chukanov, president of Chukanov Energy and Space Energy Limited Liability Co., West Jordan, is an invited speaker at Wednesday's session of the fourth International Conference on Cold Fusion. At the conference in the Hyatt Regency Maui, Chukanov said, he will display examples of new energy generators. He will also distribute copies of his new book, "Quantum Boundaries of the World," which he says outlines a new science.
"We are literally introducing a new science for the world, which of course will be met with much resistance and a fight - but it's a true and good science," said Joe Johnson, vice president of Space Energy LLC. Johnson also planned to attend the session.
Chukanov added that until now, Space Energy has been working secretly on its discoveries because it needed to protect patent interests. "Now we can be more open" because the group has applied for patents, he said.
New "space energy" generators were shipped to Hawaii and will be shown in public for the first time at the conference. Chukanov said the generators use hydrogen gas, which they recycle, and produce more energy than they consume.
A small research model consumes 1.5 kilowatts of power and the output is eight kilowatts, he said. Another version of the generator has 20 kilowatts of output, he said.
"Output power is 30 percent, 40 percent more than input power," he added.
