An idle bomb threat born of frustration shut down the Orem Post Office on Center Street for almost an hour Monday.

Sgt. Gary Downey said the "bomb" turned out to be just a book, but nevertheless the county bomb squad was called in to X-ray the package and the post office closed."What happened is we had a guy come in who came up to the counter and asked to FedEx a package. When he was told he couldn't do that, he said, `Well, I'll just blow this place up,' They got worried after that and called us," said Downey.
