Boyd Walke, 76, passed away on December 12, 1994 in Salt Lake City.
Born January 19, 1918 to Thomas Hovenden and Peninnah Naylor Walke. Married Ruth Godfrey in Murray, Utah June 14, 1939. She preceded him in death January, 1986. He served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army.He worked for Kennecott, loved to play golf, and was a great father and granddad.
He is survived by his children, Thomas (Susan) Walke, Clinton (Connie) Walke, Krinstine (Richard) Black, Elaine Charlie (Bruce) Christensen; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phoebe Erickson, Sarah Williams, Beth Walker, and Lyle Baumbach.
Preceded in death by two great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 1994, at 2:30 p.m. at the Mtn. View Memorial Estates, 7800 South 3115 East, Cottonwood Heights. Friends may call Thursday evening 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the mortuary
