An international investor group has taken control of Arrow Dynamics, Inc., a manufacturer of major amusement rides that has headquarters in the Freeport Center.

The group, which consists of, among others, earlier stockholders of Arrow, took control by investing more than $3.5 million in the company in the past six months.This group, based in London, is looking to inject more money and soliciting interest among potential international partners to further broaden efforts, as well as being in a position to offer leasing and ride financing options to park operators, company officials said.

Ron Toomer is the new chairman of Arrow's board, and Alan Harris is the new president and chief executive officer. Larry Hays has been promoted to vice president of marketing and sales.
