Fifteen-year-old country star LeAnn Rimes' parents are splitting up.
Wilbur and Belinda Rimes are divorcing, according to the Grammy winner's Los Angeles-based publicist. A prepared statement said Rimes loves her parents and supports them.No other details were given, so how they plan to handle their daughter's career remains unclear. Previously, Rimes' traveled accompanied by her parents, who also help manage her career.
Rimes was honored Wednesday in Nashville with the Country Music Association's Horizon Award, which honors an up-and-coming performer. She has made two No. 1 albums and won two Grammys, including best new artist.
