LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley will handle the Olympic torch in Utah but will not carry it, an LDS Church spokesman says.

"He is going to have it handed to him as it goes down the street, and members of the First Presidency might also participate, but that has not been fully determined yet," Bruce Olson said.

President Bush handled the torch when it was passed to him by Utah native Liz Howell, and he then lit the caldron at the White House.
