Elman Sudbury Paxman, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, 59, passed away August 22, 2002 at his home in Murray, Utah.
He was born Oct 19, 1942 in Pay-son, UT to Clarence and Mildred Alice Carter Paxman. He was a member of the LDS Church. He served his country proudly and honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a welder and worked for many years at various steel companies. Elman had a very contagious laugh. He loved steak, seafood, horses, rodeos, boating, fishing, country and classical music, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Michelle (Chris) Shepherd, Kurt (Jessica) Paxman, Denise (Tom) Vanderberghe, Jessica (Charles) Endicott, Heidi (Alma) Walker; 13 grandchildren; brother, Lamar Pax-man; and his dog Mugzie. Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Services Tues. Aug 27, 2002, 11 a.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. and Tues. 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial and graveside service, Nephi City Cemetery Tues. 2 p.m. The family would like to express their love and appreciation for all of the support they have received.
