The Better Business Bureau is warning customers to be wary of InksOutlet.com, which sells discount inks and toners.

The company, based in Gilroy, Calif., has accrued 75 complaints since December 2006, including several from Utah customers. Consumers and business owners say that orders placed online either never arrive or arrive damaged. Their e-mails and calls are not returned, and when they have called the company, they are put on hold and occasionally disconnected, the bureau said this week in a news release.

One Utah business owner said he paid almost $350 for products that never arrived, the bureau said. Another Utahn spent $120.90 and also never received the products.

Customers found the company through comparison shopping sites and Internet search engines.
