Dr. Rachel Mitchell has joined Intermountain Medical Group, specializing in internal medicine at the Salt Lake Clinic. Mitchell previously worked at another clinic.

Nathan Bingham has been named manager of the America First Credit Union branch at the Draper Harmons. Bingham started at the credit union in 1998 as a member service representative in the member service call center. Since then, he has served in several capacities at the Brigham City, Harrisville and Sandy branches.

Justin B. Palmer has been named a principal at the law firm of Stoel Rives LLP. Palmer is a member of the firm's litigation section and the employment law and labor relations group in Salt Lake City. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah.

Gary Coker has been named the managing director of asset services for the Salt Lake offices of CB Richard Ellis. Coker will oversee the operation's activities throughout Utah, manage an asset services operation consisting of approximately 6 million square feet and provide guidance and strategy for the asset services team. Most recently, he managed office, industrial and retail properties for three separate clients in the Salt Lake Valley.

James F. Wood has been named a fellow with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Wood is a principal in the Wealth Management group at Stoel Rives LLP. Only 27 attorneys in Utah have been admitted to the nonprofit organization. ACTEC has about 2,600 lawyers. Wood has 15 years of experience, with a practice that focuses on trusts and estate planning, probate, nonprofit organizations and charitable giving and tax planning for individuals and small-business owners. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah.

Ted Didas has taken over management of the civil department at McNeil Engineering following the firm's acquisition of T3 Engineering. Didas brings more than 18 years of experience in land development and civil engineering projects.

Kara Howe has been promoted to vice president of benefit sales and administration at Harris Financial, a Salt Lake-based benefits broker and financial advisory Firm. Howe has been with Harris Financial for three years and previously was marketing director for the firm.

Jillinda Bowers has been elected as the president of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, and Ryan Kirkham, Bill Heiner and Mindy Mason are the organization's other elected officers. Bowers, a sales associate at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Sandy, will serve for one year in the position. She succeeds Gary Cannon, co-owner of RE/MAX Associates in Salt Lake City, who served as president in 2007. Kirkham, the first vice president, is the principal broker and co-owner of Salt Lake-based Kirkham and Friends. Heiner, associate broker at RE/MAX Associates, was elected as second vice president. Mason, associate broker at Prudential Utah Real Estate in Midvale, is this year's treasurer. Newly elected directors are B. Thomas Colemere, principal broker of Salt Lake-based Colemere Realty; DeAnna Dipo, associate broker of Draper-based Distinctive Properties; Lisa Hyte, associate broker at RE/MAX Canyons in Salt Lake City; and Charlotte Thomas, associate broker and co-owner with Keller Williams South Valley Realty in Riverton. Directors serve a four-year term.

Kris McBride, Lisa Park and Robyn Geist have been appointed public relations account managers for Salt Lake City-based Wilkinson Ferrari & Co. McBride specializes in media relations for governmental programs and initiatives and community and public relations for major urban construction projects. Prior to joining WF&Co., he spent eight years working for the Utah Transit Authority and has held public and community relation positions at two other organizations in Utah. He recently returned from Chicago, where he spent four years working as public relations manager for an architecture and real estate development firm. As an account manager, Park will be responsible for the supervision of a variety of real estate, financial and consumer clients with a specialty in media and community relations. Prior to joining WF&Co., she worked for nearly four years at another agency in Utah and worked as an assistant account coordinator for a sports PR agency in New York City. Geist also specializes in media relations and will work on several accounts including commercial and residential development clients and government projects. Previously she worked at another Utah agency and worked as the marketing and PR manager at a book publishing company based in Layton.

Rick Foley has joined Pentalon Construction Inc. as a project manager. Foley has more than 30 years of experience in educational, recreation, commercial and multi- and single-family residential construction as project manager, superintendent and scheduler.

Trisha Bello has been promoted from adviser to unit manager at Lia Sophia, based in West Jordan. The promotion allows Bello to receive special benefits, such as additional earnings, overrides, monthly bonuses and jewelry premiums.

Joni L. Hansen has been named human resources manager and Lora Holmquist has been named operations compliance officer at Brighton Bank. Hansen has been been with the bank since 1980. She has served as operations officer and was most recently the operations compliance officer. Holmquist will retain her position as wire and Internet operations officer. She has been with the bank since 1980.

Kent M. Brown has returned to Callister Nebeker & McCullough as an attorney after his association with another firm. Brown's practice areas are estate planning, business planning, charitable organization planning, corporations and partnerships.

Casey Madsen, Christopher C. Brown and Robin L. Wall have been named to director positions at SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest Inc. Madsen is director of employee relations in the people department. Madsen will be responsible for employee relations, employment administration and workers' compensation, as well as oversight of federal and state labor law compliance, development and implementation of corporate policies and standards. He also will oversee all company hiring and recruitment processes. He has nearly a decade of aviation industry experience and has been in several leadership positions at SkyWest since joining the company in 2004. He has a degree from Weber State University. Brown is director of flight operations. He will oversee flight operations policies and procedures, including manual revisions, record-keeping, compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and standard operating procedures, and will work with pilots in establishing personnel rules, policies and ground and flight standards and procedures. Brown will also coordinate the department's emergency response program in conjunction with the company's overall plan. A 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran, Brown served in the 474th Tactical Fighter Wing, the Thunderbirds Aerial Demonstration Squadron, and has led numerous squadrons. Brown began his SkyWest pilot career in 2004, has served as Denver chief pilot and most recently was manager of operations. Wall is director of training and will be responsible for all phases of ground and flight training, including the production of training manuals and publications. A U.S. Navy veteran and a 26-year SkyWest employee, Wall has held various roles within the flight operations department.
