Seven organizations on Wednesday were presented with the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility during a ceremony in Salt Lake City.
1-800 CONTACTS Inc., AAA Fair Credit Foundation, Christopherson Business Travel, Employer Solutions Group, Intermountain Financial Group/Mass Mutual, McKinnon-Mulherin Inc. and Utah Food Services were honored.
The awards are presented locally by the Salt Lake Chamber. They are part of the "When Work Works" project, an ongoing initiative of Families and Work Institute, the Institute for a Competitive Workforce and the Twiga Foundation.
