SALT LAKE CITY — “When Calls the Heart” executive producer Brian Bird is thankful for your patience.

The official “When Calls the Heart” Instagram page shared a photo Monday night of the show’s set in Vancouver, British Columbia, with an update from Bird.

  • "When spring brings hope, #Hearties. What Hope Valley looked like at the crack of dawn today," the caption reads. "Thanks for your continuing patience, and never lose heart. Keep watching and waiting for news of the return of Season 6 of 'When Calls the Heart!'"

Other cast members have shared updates from the set in recent days.

Pascale Hutton, who plays Rosemary Coulter, shared a photo from the Vancouver set, which I wrote about for the Deseret News. The photo included herself and Kavan Smith, who plays Leland Coulter, Rosemary’s husband.

Jack Wagner, who plays lawman Bill Avery on the show, shared a video of himself boarding a plane bound for Vancouver, too, as I reported for the Deseret News.

The updates come after “When Calls the Heart” went on hiatus after the Hallmark Channel cut ties with Lori Loughlin, signaling her exit from the show, according to my report for the Deseret News.

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were accused of paying $500,000 in bribes so that their children, Olviia Jade and Isabella Giannulli, would be crew team recruits for the University of Southern California, the Associated Press reports.
