The Federal Bureau of Investigation is actively looking for potential clues about Lori Vallow Daybell’s missing children. Yellowstone National Park might be the next place to look — if there wasn’t any snow.
What’s going on:
- Daybell is the mother of two missing Idaho children — Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17, who have been missing since September 2019. She has been charged with desertion and nonsupport, the Deseret News reports.
- Erica Stapleton of KPNX-12 recently reported that Yellowstone National Park might hold clues for the whereabouts of the two children. But potential roadblocks stand in the way of the FBI investigating the area.
- Stapleton said in a recent video report (via KTVB-7): “This place is massive, touching parts of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.
- The FBI has posted up in Rexburg, calling out for clues with the release of new photos, which I wrote about for the Deseret News. The photos show Tylee on the day before she disappeared. A separate photo shows Vallow with her son JJ.
- In a release, the FBI has asked anyone who was on the park on the same day or taken photos there that day to share the information with the FBI, too.
- The FBI did not confirm it was actively searching the park, according to Stapleton. She said the snow could be a factor. Roadways are blocked so it’s hard for anyone to search for footprints or any other clues.
- But, according to Stapleton, Yellowstone National Park said plows will come in soon to clear the roads.
