Netflix dropped its first trailer for the fifth and final season of “Fuller House,” and it looks like Lori Loughlin is on the outside looking in amid the college admissions scandal.

Loughlin doesn’t appear in the show’s final season trailer. She was fired from “Fuller House” and “When Calls the Heart” after she was named among dozens of parents in the college admissions scandal.

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes so that their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli, could be crew team recruits for the University of Southern California. The couple pleaded not guilty in the case.

Since Loughlin was charged, rumors and speculation wondered whether she would appear in the fifth season of “Fuller House.” John Stamos tweeted multiple pictures of the cast, which included Loughlin, but nothing concrete was established about her role in the new show.

But the new Netflix trailer shows that the production has moved on from Loughlin and that she likely won’t appear in the final season.

Other older cast members — like Dave Coulier and Stamos — appear in the trailer.

“Fuller House” star Andrea Barber told Us Weekly magazine that she was angered by what happened to Loughlin.

“It’s very sad. She was a big part of ‘Fuller House.’ She wasn’t in every episode, but her presence was definitely felt. We loved every single time she came on the set. So we have definitely felt her absence this season,” Barber said, as reported by the Deseret News.

“We wish it wasn’t that way, and we wish she could be here because it definitely feels like there’s a hole in our hearts and a hole on our set,” Barber said. “But we understand that this is the decision that was made, and we respect it. But she’s always in our hearts forever. Every time we step on stage, she’s in our hearts.”
