“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” will air its premiere this week, giving viewers a chance to see what it’s like to be a housewife in Utah’s capital city.
What’s going on:
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” will have its premiere episode Wednesday.
- The episode airs on 11/11 at 8 p.m. MST (11 p.m. EST).
- The show’s described as: “In a land of priceless natural beauty and high social standards, an elite circle of women are on a quest for perfection while trying to stay above the darkness that is brewing among them.”
But you can watch it now
Bravo Insiders can watch clips from the premiere on the Bravo website. The clip specifically shows character Jen Shah and her family.
Some notes on the premiere:
I watched the premiere at an event in Salt Lake City over the weekend. The premiere is a comical look at these specific housewives. That said, the show does make false assumptions about the culture and people of Utah — so don’t expect it to be completely accurate. There’s also multiple instances of alcohol use, mature language and discussions of sex and sexual situations. So family-friendly audiences may not be keen to watch it.
- That said, the episode shows off some spots of Salt Lake City and Park City that you’ll recognize, including City Creek Mall, the Salt Lake Temple, 400 South in downtown Salt Lake City and more.
