Multiple Disneyland hotels don’t allow for new reservations through July amid the coronavirus pandemic, a sign that the park will remain closed through the next two months.

What’s happening:

  • Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are not taking any new reservations through July 15 and later, a sign that the park won’t allow for new guests to stay at the park until nearly August.
  • Disneyland and Disney California Adventure closed in mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic. The park said it will remain closed for the indefinite future.

Some context:

Per The Orange County Register, Disneyland has consistently pushed back reservation dates. The hotels allowed reservations before June 1 back in March. But in May, Disney only accepted reservations from July 1 and the future. Now, Disney has pushed it to July 15.

When will Disneyland reopen?

The reopening date remains unclear. The latest Disneyland statement reads:

While there is still much uncertainty with respect to the impacts of COVID-19, the safety and well-being of our guests and employees remain The Walt Disney Company’s top priority.

As a result of this unprecedented pandemic and in line with direction provided by health experts and government officials, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will remain closed until further notice.
