Former stars of “Glee”sent their thoughts and prayers to Naya Rivera, their former co-star who has gone missing in California.
What’s happening:
- Riverawent missing Wednesday afternoon at Lake Piru in California, which I wrote about for the Deseret News.
- A boater reportedly found Rivera’s son alone on a boat at Lake Piru in California. He called officials, who began a search for Rivera in the area, per CBS Los Angeles.
- Authorities have used helicopters drones and dive teams in their search in the nearby areas of the lake, which measures 1.938 square miles.
- The boy said he and his mother went swimming in the lake. But Rivera never returned to the boat.
- Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Eric Buschow told the Los Angeles Times that there have been no signs of Rivera during the search.
