Here’s a look at this week’s college football games featuring teams ranked in the Associated Press Top 25. Scores will be updated throughout the day on Saturday as games are completed.

No. 1 Clemson 34, Boston College 28: The Tigers (7-0) — playing without Heisman frontrunner Trevor Lawrence, who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week — scored the game’s final 24 points to avoid what would have been a monumental upset. Boston College (4-3) led 28-10 late in the second quarter before Clemson rallied behind true freshman quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei, who threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in his first career start.

No. 2 Alabama 41, Mississippi State 0: Mac Jones threw for 291 yards and four touchdowns as the Crimson Tide cruised to the win.

No. 3 Ohio State 38, No. 18 Penn State 25: The Buckeyes jumped out to an early lead and didn’t look back. Justin Fields threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.

No. 4 Notre Dame 31, Georgia Tech 13: The Fighting Irish seized control just before halftime and got the win to set up a game next week against No. 1 Clemson.

No. 5 Georgia 14, Kentucky 3: The Bulldogs (4-1) led by a slim margin at halftime — 7-3 — before driving 75 yards for a crucial touchdown on the first possession of the second half in fending off the Wildcats (2-4).

Texas 41, No. 6 Oklahoma State 34 (OT): In a back-and-forth battle, Sam Ehlinger found Joshua Moore for a 15-yard touchdown in overtime and then the Longhorns shut the Cowboys down on the next possession to get the upset win.

No. 7 Cincinnati 49, Memphis 10: Desmond Ridder threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns as the Bearcats (5-0) rolled past AAC rival Memphis (3-2).

No. 8 Texas A&M 42, Arkansas 31: Kellen Mond threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns as the Aggies took care of business.

No. 9 Wisconsin (1-0) at Nebraska (0-1), CANCELED

No. 10 Florida 41, Missouri 17: Kyle Trask threw for 345 yards and four touchdowns as the Gators handled the Tigers.

No. 11 BYU 41, Western Kentucky 10: The Cougars cruised again, jumping out to a 35-3 lead and coasting to the finish line.

Michigan State 27, No. 13 Michigan 24: The Spartans (1-1) scored on a 13-yard pass from Rocky Lombardi to Connor Heyward with 5:11 to play to help them knock off the rival Wolverines (1-1) at the Big House. Lombardi threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Virginia 44, No. 15 North Carolina 41: The Cavaliers steadily built the lead through the first three quarters and then held off a late Tar Heel charge to get the upset win.

West Virginia 37, No. 16 Kansas State 10: The Mountaineers (4-2) outscored the Wildcats (4-2) 31-7 over the second and third quarters in pulling the upset. West Virginia forced three turnovers and doubled up Kansas State in total offense (485 yards to 225).

No. 17 Indiana 37, Rutgers 21: Michael Penix Jr. threw three touchdown passes as the Hoosiers got the comfortable win.

No. 19 Marshall (5-0) at Florida International (0-3), POSTPONED

No. 20 Coastal Carolina 51, Georgia State 0: The Chanticleers (6-0) stayed unbeaten by rolling past an overmatched league opponent.

No. 22 SMU 51, Navy 37: Shane Buechele threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns as teh Mustangs dispatched the Midshipmen.

No. 23 Iowa State 52, Kansas 22: The Cyclones scored 13 or more points in three of the four quarters in beating the winless Jayhawks (0-6).

No. 24 Oklahoma 62, Texas Tech 28: The Red Raiders scored first but then the Sooners reeled off 42 unanswered points and cruised to the win.

No. 25 Boise State 49, Air Force 30: Without starting quarterback Hank Bachmeier, the Broncos shrugged off a slow start to get the win as USC transfer Jack Sears threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns in Bachmeier’s stead.

BYES: No. 12 Miami (5-1), No. 14 Oregon (starts season on Nov. 7), No. 21 USC (starts season on Nov. 7)
