SALT LAKE CITY — Donovan Mitchell has been incredible during the 2020 playoffs. Mitchell has willed the Jazz to wins and put up numbers in losses. In the playoffs, Mitchell is averaging an astounding 38.7 points per game and has put up jaw-dropping performances of 57, 51 and 44 points in the first-round series against the Denver Nuggets. The nation is taking note of the young superstar.
TNT analyst Charles Barkley is liking what he sees from Mitchell this series. Barkley praised the Jazz guard on Inside The NBA.
“We don’t show a lot of Utah Jazz games during the regular season, but Donovan Mitchell is terrific. To get a chance to see him play in these playoffs, I hope America appreciates how terrific he is. First of all, he’s a great kid,” Barkley said. “I love his first interview he had when the first win (against Denver),” he said, ‘I didn’t play well in the playoffs last year and I wanted to play better this year. We want to win this year.’”
