Utah fans will hear a couple of different voices when they tune into football radio broadcasts this season.
Ute fans will still have a familiar voice in Bill Riley, who has been calling Utah games for the past 18 years, but he’ll have new partners.
Stevenson Sylvester, who has been on Utah radio broadcasts for seven seasons on the pregame show and on the sidelines, will move into the color commentary role alongside Riley. Sylvester was a star on Utah’s undefeated 2008 team and played five seasons in the NFL, the majority with Pittsburgh.
Sylvester will replace Scott Mitchell, the former Utah quarterback who had been Riley’s partner on the airwaves since 2018.
Filling Sylvester’s spot as sideline reporter is Zack Moss, who set the school’s all-time rushing record in 2019. Moss played five seasons in the NFL, starting his career with the Buffalo Bills.
