Ronald A. Rasband has been appointed to the board of directors of Huntsman Chemical Corp., chairman and chief executive officer Jon M. Huntsman announced Monday.
Rasband is president and chief operating officer of Huntsman Chemical Corp. He oversees a corporation that had 1990 consolidated revenues (including subsidiary companies) in excess of $1.3 billion.Huntsman Chemical has 17 manufacturing facilities located throughout the U.S., as well as in Canada, Europe, the Soviet Union and the Far East. Huntsman's key businesses include the production of styrene monomer, polystyrene, expandable polystyrene, polypropylene and specialty compounded plastics.
Rasband was previously executive vice president, chief operating officer and senior vice president of marketing and sales. He joined the company in 1976 while attending the University of Utah Business of College.
