SALT LAKE CITY — The Pac-12 announced Saturday it has made the decision to cancel all conference and nonconference sporting events, including Pac-12 championships, through the remainder of the academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That includes spring sports “that compete beyond the academic year,” the league said. The Pac-12 is also prohibiting all organized team activities through at least March 29, when this decision will be revisited.

On Friday, the University of Utah announced it was suspending all athletic team practices indefinitely, including spring football.
