ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” will be returning this year for its 29th season but hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews won’t be returning.

In a tweet Monday night, Bergeron revealed the news saying, “Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career,”

Bergeron has been with the show since it started in 2005.

In a statement, ABC said that “the show is looking to embark on a new creative direction and host Bergeron departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success.”

Andrews has also been apart of the show for several years. She competed as a contestant in 2010 and then returned to co-host the show in 2014, according to Entertainment Tonight.

“Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Fans have been rooting for her since she originally competed as a contestant back in 2010, and her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show.” a statement from ABC read.

No replacements have been named yet.

Celebrities and former contestants are reacting to the shocking news by taking to social media to share their appreciation for the hosts.
