It’s been a busy year for University of Utah athletic director Mark Harlan and the school’s athletic department.

There’s been the private equity deal with Otro Capital and establishing Crimson Brand Partners.

The school is also exploring options to renovate the Huntsman Center and bring improvements to Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The university is moving the team’s apparel deal to Adidas next season as well.

All these topics, and more, gave Harlan plenty to discuss when he met with reporters during Big 12 football media days in a 12-minute interview session at The Star, the practice facility of the Dallas Cowboys.
