SOUTH SALT LAKE — A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after his motorcycle collided with a commercial truck on Tuesday evening in South Salt Lake.
The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. near 2940 S. State Street, South South Lake Police spokeswoman Danielle Croyle said.
The motorcyclist was traveling north on State Street and the truck was heading south before attempting to make a left turn on East Garden Avenue when the collision happened, according to Croyle.
Following the crash, emergency crews took the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital. Croyle confirmed the man wore protective gear. The truck driver was not injured.
Croyle said the crash is under investigation.
