Anthony Dennis Hansen (Tug), beloved husband, father, brother and son died February 16, 1997 at home of a massive heart attack.
Born February 5, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dennis D. and Jacqualine N. Hansen. Anthony married JoEllen Curtis August 10, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.He graduated from Salt Lake Community College with his Associates Degree and went on to the University of Utah to seek his Bachelor Degree in Business and Philosophy. He was looking forward to his graduation in June. He was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society. He was a member in good standing of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Rosicrucian Order, and a member of the LDS church. His goal in life was to always achieve excellence in everything that he endeavored. He exemplified integrity in every aspect of his life. He was a kind quiet man. He was generous to all who sought his aide.
He worked for Progressive Reporting Agency as an accountant. His father was very proud to work with him and will miss this gentle insightful man very much. His co-workers will miss his sweet nature and silly humor. He will be missed by his family, brothers, sisters and friends. There will be a large void in the world because of his parting.
He was a loving and wonderful husband and father. His family was the most important thing in his life. They will miss him and he will miss them also. He was the Big Brother to his sisters and brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife, JoEllen, one son Andrew Nay, four daughters, Micki Nay, Meghann Nay, Elizabeth Hansen and Denise Hansen all of Kearns, UT. His father and mother, Dennis and Jacqualine Hansen of Magna, UT; grandparents, Kenneth O. and Ruby S. Hansen, Holladay; nine sisters and four brothers; Hope Hooton, West Jordan, UT.; Bonnie Wingeier (Steven), Kearns, Ut.; Susan Christensen (Mike) West Jordan, UT.; Dawn Garrison (Ron), Logan, Ut.; Phillip L. Hansen (Shauna), Ogden, Ut.; Eric G. Hansen (Staci) Ogden, Ut.; Tamra Petersen (Bruce) Salt Lake City, Ut.; Kathrine Powell (Andy) Magna, Ut.; Michelle Hansen, Magna, Ut.; Faith Hansen, Midvale, Ut.; Rachel Hansen, Midvale, Ut.; Joseph A. Hansen, Midvale, Ut.; Matthew D. Hansen, Midvale, Ut.: his father and mother-in-law Wayne and Ethel Curtis, Midvale, Ut.; stepmother Jill S. Hansen, Midvale, Ut.; many nieces and nephews. Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather Jack T. and Sally Neve and his uncle Jerry J. Neve.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 20,1997 at 12 noon at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary and one hour prior to services. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery, 4775 S. Redwood Road.
