Obituary: Janet Brady Jensen

Janet Brady Jensen, born January 27, 1959, died peacefully April 8, 2001, at home, surrounded by her family, after a long, courageous struggle with cancer.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jeffrey M. Jensen; son, Joshua (Laura) Jensen; daughters, Jacklyn and Jessica Jensen, West Jordan, UT; parents, Lawrence Clinton and Nyleen Neilson Brady; parents-in-law, R. Merwin and Sharon E. Jensen; and many other loving family and friends.

Her positive attitude was inspirational to all. She always said, "I'm doing fine," and now we know she isn't lying.

Janet graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1977 and was married to Jeff Jensen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 15, 1978. She was a loving mother who willingly participated in any activity that any member of the family wanted to do. Janet taught at Challenger Schools in West Jordan, UT and influenced and molded many young minds. She was also very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a variety of callings. During her last few years she was very active in her church calling serving others at the South Valley Care Center.

Services will be Wed. April 11, 2001, 12 noon in the Jordan Oaks LDS 1st Ward chapel, 3905 W. 8075 S, West Jordan. Friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 S. 1700 E, Sandy, and Wed. at the church 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
