BYU has landed its second transfer portal addition of the current cycle.

Former Southern Utah offensive lineman Kyle Sfarcioc has committed to the Cougars, he announced Thursday night via social media.

Sfarcioc had been with the Thunderbirds since 2021 and served as their starting right guard for the past two seasons. In 1,409 total snaps across his college career, Sfarcioc has never allowed a sack and has been penalized just eight times.

The Peoria, Arizona product was rated as a 2-star recruit by 247 Sports as the No. 65-ranked player out of his state in the class of 2021.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds, Sfarcioc has one remaining season of eligibility to play with the Cougars, where he should be expected to compete for a spot on the starting offensive line.

Sfarcioc is the second transfer to commit to BYU since the end of the regular season, joining former UCLA and Utah tight end Carsen Ryan.
