Three months after the Hallmark Network launched its streaming platform, Hallmark+, will release dozens of new Christmas movies.
When Hallmark+ launched in September, the streaming platform was intended to release separate, exclusive content from the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery releases, reported Variety. The network has since changed those plans.
“‘Countdown to Christmas’ remains a linear experience,” Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of programming at Hallmark Media told Variety in July. “The content on the app is going to be ‘Holidazed,’ ‘Mistletoe Murders’ ... There’s going to be a bunch of holiday content, but it’s going to be separate and different from what’s on linear.”
Hallmark + released 12 new holiday movies as well as a slew of television series and non-scripted television series in December, as previously reported The Deseret News.
Beginning in 2025, all original Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery movies will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the day after they premiere, Variety reported.
On Friday, Dec. 20, Hallmark+ will release the following 24 Christmas movies for streaming.
- “Trading Up Christmas”
- ”The Santa Class”
- ”Hanukkah on the Rocks”
- ”Leah’s Perfect Gift”
- ”A Dance in the Snow”
